She accidentally parked him in at a Walgreen’s store. Her mail-truck was blocking his truck from exiting the pharmacy. He stomped back into the store and began his berating. Although she apologized and said she would move out of his way in a second, he continued the public beat-down.
Fast-forward…he speeds off. She sits, head-down, in her mail-truck dejected, emotionally black and blue, trying to give herself a pep talk to get through the rest of the day. Sovereignly, a young blonde woman witnesses the whole episode. She’s in her car ready to head back to work. She sees the conversation the woman is having with herself. She turns off the ignition and grabs a Starbucks gift card out of her wallet. She lets herself be interrupted.
“Don’t worry about that. Have a coffee on me today.”
I get to call that young blonde, “wife.” Thank you God for blessing me so!
“But the Spirit produces love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, humility, and self-control. There is no law against such things as these” (Gal. 5:22-23).
